R3 Protection (Rapid Reflex Response) was born out of the necessity from its mother Martial Art Jing Tao Kung Fu, to offer an apt and quick way for the average person to protect themselves. Many people have asked, “if the Military, Police, and special Interest Groups can have their people trained so quickly before Combative situations, then why is their nothing for the civilians?”
Well actually there are schools, however, they are usually hard, and inaccessible for the average person to find, not to mention they take to long.
R3 Protection is here to offer you an alternative to both. No crazy exercises, flaky meditations, or long philosophical explanations and debates. Just the (meat & potatoes) of self protection.

This is a sample of some training techniques:
Let me ask you a simple basic question.
Question (1):
If you were a man of say 42 years of age, and had not done much physical exercise as of late, and you were set upon by a younger man intent on harming you, what would you do?
Answer (1):
I know what I would do, and I’m 57 years old. I would get as close to him, or let him get as close as possible to me, making sure I’ve got his eye, before the swinging began. You see, he’s young, he’s strong, and he’s fast, but he often gets confused when someone is so close they touch his nose. Now you are on a level playing field, you don’t have to be young, fast, or strong, you just have to calmly pick your target, and time of delivery. You are old enough to spot a weak point on just about any young buck, you just need access. Being right on him, and up in his face, gives you this access.
Do not be afraid to divert your eyes to the place, or spot in which you have chosen to penetrate. He does not know what you are doing, and you need to keep your eye on the target. At the moment you perceive an aggressive movement, attack your chosen target with force, speed, and resolve. You cannot afford to merely induce a small amount of pain, you must introduce enough force, that your opponent knows he has soundly been defeated. Otherwise, you run the risk of just angering him further.
